Welcome to the AFWA Flagstaff Chapter Website!

February 2018 Presidents Message

Hello Everyone,

On January 31, Sarah Benetar, Coconino County Treasurer spoke to us about the Government Property Lease Excise Tax (GPLET) and other issues going on at the property tax office. There was a lot of interactive discussion and questions so it was a very informative and enlightening meeting. Please take a moment and go to the chapter website to review the minutes from that meeting so we can approve at our next meeting.

Tax season is a busy time for some of us, but take a break and plan on joining us for lunch on Wednesday, February 28 at 11:30 at the Oakmont where Erika Philpot will be educating us on various Human Resources topics.

Please RSVP to Abby Velazquez by Friday, February 23.

Thank you,

Erin Chawick
Chapter President
