AFWA Flagstaff Chapter Members
Welcome to the AFWA Flagstaff Chapter Website!
AFWA is the home for all women accounting professionals whether new to the field, experienced or considering a career transition.
The mission of AFWA is to enable women in all accounting and finance fields to achieve their full personal and to contribute to their profession.
AFWA is a national association with several Arizona chapters including Flagstaff and Phoenix (Valley of the Sun). Our chapters offer leadership, networking and educational opportunities. Participating in chapter meetings, seminars, regional and national conferences allow members to maximize the value of their AFWA membership.

Generally, meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month at The Oakmont at Continental Country Club. The Foundation
The Foundation is all about us, accounting and financial professionals. We strive every day to make a difference in the financial world and in our communities. The Foundation is charged with raising funds for national scholarships, and educational advancement of our peers and rising leaders. The Foundation offers each of us the opportunity to support the future direction of the profession where we have gained our own personal successes. It is important to support those entering the profession and working alongside us. Those that follow in our footsteps have much to teach us and much to learn from us. They embody the next generation of accounting and financial professionals. Our goal for you and AFWA is to lead in their development.
Scholarship
Through stewardship, The Foundation promotes and advances women in accounting and finance by cultivating relationships, securing contributions, and providing scholarships for education and career development. We believe that to decrease barriers for women in the accounting and financial profession, education and access to career development resources are essential. The Foundation aims to ensure women will have the tools and resources to achieve every career success they desire.
